This book was brand new with the CD's intact as advertised. It was delivered when it was promised. I was very satisfied and would recommend ordering from them.
NEVER GOT THE BOOK

I
put in a order for this book and never got it, so I had to go to the book store to purchase it. Don't need it now too late.

Algebra

This book is great for those that are futuring their education. This book gave several examples and helped me with my practice tests and quizzes. I received the book as implemented.
Intermediate and Vague
22nd January 2010
This is my first time in Basic Algebra, but as we're wrapping up chapter two I find myself hoping the college changes books before next semesters Intermediate Algebra. I find the text and the examples extremely vague; not to mention the problems are rarely clear on WHAT EXACTLY they want you to do. I'll admit that thus far a great deal of my disappointment has to do with my actual class. We are "reviewing" the first two chapters instead of actually learning anything which is insane because most of our class hasn't dealt with these subjects or applied them before. Class woe's aside, this book is not detailed, the examples are directionless and the questions are vague enought to make me want to curl up in a ball and cry. All in all, this is the stupidest math book I've ever had to buy. As we progress through the chapters, I hope it gets more specific, but I don't see that happening. I won't be keeping this book when I'm done with these math classes. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna toss it in the fire ring and roast a marshmellow over its toxic little flames.
